This didn’t start as a grand business plan.
It started with love.
Martin is our six year old smooth fox terrier. He’s got personality for days and absolutely zero concern about what’s actually in his treats. If it smells good, he’s in.
That’s what made us slow down.
Tisha has been a professional groomer for over 50 years and a Calgary SPCA award recipient. She has seen what food can do for a dog’s coat, weight, skin, and overall health. The good changes and the preventable ones.
And somewhere between normal conversations at the table and me grinding sardines later than I probably should, we kept coming back to one simple thought:
For the love of our animals and other families and their pets, there should be healthy, affordable options.
Not complicated.
Not overpriced because it sounds trendy.
Not packed with extras that do not need to be there.
Just honest ingredients.
So we kept it simple.
No dairy.
No wheat.
No bacon.
No processed meats.
No added salt.
No added sugar.
No preservatives.
Bluberries. Pumpkin. Apples. Oats. Lean meats. Sardines. Bone broth.
Ingredients we recognize. Ingredients we would feel good serving.
We are not trying to reinvent the pet industry.
We are trying to build something we believe in.
Everything is made in small batches. Vacuum sealed. Dated. Transparent.
Is it perfect? We are still learning.
Is it intentional? Absolutely.
We are starting local. Dog parks. Groomers. Community connections. Medicine Hat first.
This is about our dog.
And yours.
Because loving them should not mean guessing what is in the bag.
Welcome to Martin’s Snack Attack.
Always wholesome. Never artificial.
